Barrington 1503 is a 24,200 s.f. co-living building with 18 units on four floors. The floor plans are organized with outward facing private bedrooms and inward focused common living, dining and study rooms; bringing people together in the heart of the building. The landscape was designed with the same goal in mind. Larger plant massings are proportional to the building and buffer the street, while the pedestrian scale plant palette sweeps into the public central courtyard. The focus of the roof deck is the outdoor kitchen and flexible gathering areas maximizing views of the city.
