The AIRE condominium project consists of three buildings on a half acre site with approximately 3,000 square feet of planting area. The landscape along the 14th Street frontage has a unifying affect on the 19 unit development. Board formed planter walls with Aeonium, Deer Grass, Senecio, Echeveria and Rosemary provide year round color and texture at the pedestrian level.
Palo Verde trees under planted with Lavender punctuate the private unit patios. The Myrtle hedges reflect the wood pattern in the building elevation while defining the individual garden spaces. A succulent green wall transitions pedestrians to the central courtyard highlighted with three linear water features. The water features provide tranquil sound and an informal place to sit and gather, while the plaza remains open for circulation.
